So this past Saturday Daniel and I had set up a babysitter to go on a date. Dan hadn't said where we were going but I assumed we'd go to the movies. And so at 5:00 we headed over to the babysitters and dropped the boys off. And then Dan drove over to Bob and Julie's house. I thought, "What are we doing here?" He goes inside but first tells me to get into Grammy's van. He comes out with a bag and we drive up to a dead-end in their community that faces the mountains and the sunset.
He opened the bag and there was two small containers of icecream that he had kept in Bob and Julie's freezer for tonight.

So we sat on the back of Grammy's van, turned on some country music, ate icecream and watched the sunset! It was a very romantic surprise! After that we did go to the movies and saw Nights in Roedanthe.....which was very predictable, by the way.
