Sushi!

I made Sushi for Daniel on Thursday....OK I know sushi doesn't involve that much "cooking" but it was still delicious!

Happy Temple Anniversary

Tuesday, the 27th was our second anniversary of being sealed in the Temple as a family! I surprized Daniel by decorating his car! He thought it was funny!

My New Hobby...

No, this isn't my attempt to copy "Julie/Julia", I'm just discovering a hobby. I had always hated cooking because I didn't know how. But since I've been married, both: having to cook everyday, and having Daniel teach me the basics, has shown me that cooking can be very fun!

Kelsey was having a Ladies Night at her house for the ladies in her ward and invited me. So I decided to try Paula Deans: Mini Banana Chocolate Creme Pie's. They turned out better than I thought. The whipped cream was melted by the time I took them over, though! :)

And for dinner two nights ago, I made Giada's: Salmon with Mint and Garlic Pea puree with Chicken Lemon Potatos. It was actually really fun to make! So I'm excited to try more recipies and have a ton of support from my husband! :)

Last chance for water fun!

I'm disappointed that it's still hot outside, so we decided to have some water fun in the backyard!

Our trip to Florence!

Daniel had this Wednesday off, so we decided to call up Kelsey and Brookie, and go to a park together. Kelsey suggested this community park in Anthem- she was already heading there with her two niece's.

My little "mini-daniel" completley afraid of heights!!

Daddy and Logan!!

We were playing "follow the leader" with Aiden! He led us around the ENTIRE park!

It was a ton of fun!! Thanks for introducing us to this park, Aunt Kelsey! We'll have to make this a weekly trip!

Aiden's 3rd Birthday Party!!!

Yesterday was Aiden's 3rd Birthday party!! The theme was dinosaurs so I tried to incorporate the two important elements of the dinosaur era. I had a volcano and the "bubbble" ice age. Outside I had dino-prints leading the guests to our door. The Volcano was upstairs, and I had black trash bags to darken the stairs leading to it.

Aiden was having so much fun!

For the Ice Age, we had bubbles as our "snow".

Aiden's "Stegosaurus" cake!!! Kelsey did an amazing job!

Aiden loved it so much he was stroking it!!

He literally stayed by it for like 10 minutes!

Aiden blowing out his candle!!

Then we had a Dino- pinata!

Aiden at bat.

Brookie at bat!

Aiden opening gifts. We had him only open gifts from his friends; he'll open family gifts this sunday, at his and Clarks family birthday dinner at Bob and Julie's!

Aunt lizzy got him a HUGE Triceratops!!

And Papa couldn't resist having Aiden open his gift: a HUGE T-REX!! It's seriously almost as tall as Logan!!!
It was a fun party! Thank you all who came!!!

Boys at our mini-lake!

Aiden and Logan checking out the fishies!

This one is a cute "profile" of them both. I wish I had one with them both smiling/looking at the camera...

They eventually had to be bribed to stay there with food!! So yes, they're eating Pringles!

Grammy absolutley loves this one of Aiden!

Loggie's close-up!......with the dang Pringle chip!!

When I sent this to people, they all asked if Aiden was standing in the water! I thought, "Why would he be standing in the water?!?!" I can see with how happy he looks in the picture why some have thought I let him in the water!!....:)

Loggie, with the pringle. I LOVE his feet in this pose! Just so relaxed, so content! It's adorable!

My favorite of Aiden- with the exception of the pliers he's holding at the corner of the pic.! He's my handy man! And once again, he's not in the water, he's kneeling on a boulder!

Footprints...

... I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."
